Icehockey World Junior Championships (U-20) 2008 in Switzerland start in just two days. There are 16 nations battling for the championship in the following two weeks. Many believe that the team of Czech will make a good run for the gold.

World Junior Championships semifinals

World Junior Championships have reached semifinal stage. In the first semifinal on January 14th, Team USA will meet Team Sweden . In the second clash, Team Russia will challenge Team Canada. Winners from both games will meet on January 16th in the final game to decide the 2008 World Champion of icehockey.
